User Review – Flag as inappropriate Excellent one on network programming! I recommend it to anyone who is doing network development in Java in the future. Packed with useful examples, it is the essential resource for any serious Java developer. Easy read, not much else on the topic at the time. Also, when standards, protocols or theoretical aspects are involved, a brief introduction is provided with only as much detail as necessary to follow the ensuing Java related discussion except for secure sockets where the theory is a bit complex and the introduction a bit lacking.
