Actually, everything that concerned Robet and JD was great. If I got it wrong, I apologize. Again, the characterization and the depiction of the characters’ relationships were better than the plot but then again these are so good that my minor quibbles about the plot really don’t matter.

That, it took them 15 years and the death of a young man to make them rehrogrado see each other and find a way to be together and happy. It was so hard reading the rough times Roberto and JD went through, and most of it was because they couldn’t stop and see what they were doing to each other. Fact is, I enjoyed the riveting plot and writing, but Robert and JD’s characterizations and actions spoilt this book for me. They came together hot and wild, and fought the same way. He has bits of memories which tell him that he is in love with Robert, but doesn’t remember to have left him.

BOP86 About the book: I found the relationship between these intelligent but flawed men to be utterly compelling, even if I occasionally wanted to cringe from the way they treated each other.

The case couldn’t even drag me through, since I didn’t care for Kate or Bill.
