What do You say? So I ran over to my local library and picked it up. Also, Malone is too much of a strong-but-silent type for the first person POV to work here in that, for the romance-factor and the “how does he feel about her” way, we were left totally blind.

It was sweet at times, but my complaint would be that I wished there were more developments. I have to agree with some other reviewers on a few points — namely the painfully-embarrassing kkristan, the incomplete development of the relationship between Maggie and Malone, and the rhe point of view and present tense.
The story itself is good, fully-fleshed out, and very small-town Americana, reading more like chick-lit than straight romance. Amazon Restaurants Food delivery from local restaurants. As much as I loved Malone, my heart totally belonged to the Colonel Set up a giveaway. Perhaps cay Irish were just more religious. This is what Maggie eventually learns when she “discovers” Malone.
I read this book via Audio, by Xe Sands. Maggie would like to have a life like Christie’s. Kristan Higgins tje do no wrong in my book. A nice story but something was missing.

I especially loved her relationship with her twin sister. I generally enjoy Kristan Higgins. I am a total Kristan Higgins convert. The town is tiny.
But sometimes the person you’ve been looking for all your life has been right in front of your face the whole time. Will definitely read more by this author.
