The Reavers of Harkenwold adventure is, in a word, excellent. There is plenty of information in Reavers of Harkenwold for a party that loves . The adventure was written for levels 2 to 4… but in my own game, I stretched this content out for months on end. The evening started out with a bar fight a group of local tough guys tried to intimidate the party. The party was escorted to the barracks in room 6, where they killed their escorts, went into the empty banquet hall room 5 and then into the kitchen room 15 where the servants tried to help.

It’s definitely one of the better written pre-made adventures for 4e, and I remember it being pretty popular on EN world a while back.

The first begins with a thorough overview of the plot of the adventure in both a super-brief format here are the three or four major points of the plot as well as a longer format for book 1 that goes over the flow of that section.

harkrnwold Sunday, 16th August, But harkenwood of the battles do nothing for the plot of the story, so it takes a long time in real-world time for the story to go anywhere. Free a region of innocents from an evil outside army that has taken over. Lots of flexibility in the beginning, and kind of a creative mix of stuff to do.

This includes art commissions, modules, maps, podcasts, streams, etc, whether you are reavrrs for them or not. The back story and information about all of the people and places is really well presented, and I think DMs can find a lot to make use of. I ended up making it an RP encounter where they had to trick the mage and trap him in his lair.

Any tips generally running it? The players need to gather allies, fight in a large military battle, then infiltrate a keep.

Jeff loaned it to me on the spot. A rebel resistance has sprung up and it’s up to the PCs to help liberate the Duchy. I added in two encounters haarkenwold the trip from Kobold Hall back to Fallcrest, then set up the hooks to take them to Harkenwold.
